Social networking sites tell us things like, "its friendship day, today".
Saints and sages tell us everyday, "make friends with God, today! "
India has had the richest heritage of knowing God in several different ways.
One can look to Him as Father, or even Mother (Sat putra marg).
but one can also look to Him as a friend ( sakha marg)
The Bhakti rasa saints have always loved him,
sometimes as Meera, at other times as Radha.
Yogis have known Him intimately in their own soul as Antaryami (San marg)
The great truth is that He is the One beloved friend who is with you,
from the time you take your very first breath in this world.
