Today Eight people have lost their lives and 20 more injured in a stampede in baba Baidyanath Jharkhand's Deoghar district, ANI report said.
Lakhs of Hindu devotees arrive to the town in the the holy month known as Shravan (according to the Hindu calendar) to offer prayers and holy water to Lord Shiva in the famous Baidyanath Dham temple.
The incident, as per reports, happened early in the morning as devotees tried to jump queue.
