Strong People are human too. Strong people can feel perturbed too. Even though Strong people are used to coping. They are used to leading and used to taking charge. They are an inspiration. They are not good at sharing their pain or asking for help. But they can get hurt too. They front up to life each day, often with a smile on their face, and you’d never know how tough it is for them to keep doing that sometimes. We see them standing strong, and we forget what they may have going through. We keep looking to them for motivation, for inspiration. We turn to strong people, follow them, ask for their advice. And often we are leaning on them for strength we want, not realising that they could be suffering too. So, my strong friend, look after yourself first. Don't care so much about other people neglecting your own needs. Withdraw if you must, it's ok to close the door to others if you are feeling dead inside. Often some time for self-nurture or a break away from the stress is all you’ll need before you are refreshed and ready to carry on. Life is too short and precious to live it on your knees. Do what gives you relief. Value yourself as much as you value the wants and needs of others. Find strong support, Sometimes friends can often be that support where family fail to measure up. You have to recognise that you don’t need to please everyone all the time. Don't b afraid to say no or speak up when necessary. Do strive to be kind and fair, but be a diplomatic lest people walk over you. People are actually too smart and shrewd these days. So breathe, in your head, to keep yourself calm, while dealing with them. Stand your ground. Being diplomatic means standing up for your self. Diplomatic means think, re think, and then think more about the words you choose to communicate. Let people not think you are dumb. You need some attitude theses days. Attitude is everything. Well, sometimes, old sayings have hung around as long as they have for a reason. A positive attitude can help you surmount any roadblock thrown your way and keep you on the path to success. Don't take reckless or foolish risks but don't avoid taking calcutiaing risks either. And yes, don’t waste time dwelling on the past and wishing things could be different. acknowledge the past and see what you have learned from it. Dont constantly relive bad experiences or fantasize about the glory days. Instead, live for the present and plan for the future.
