In point of clarification to all our fellow Shaivite devotees.
NO, THERE IS NOT ERADICATION OF SINS.
Bathing in Ganga, fasting, or whatever else we do won't cleanse our sins away.
We wronged someone, we hurt someone, we have to pay for what we did, and if we truly want to be responsible, we should accept to pay for our sins.
So, we have to pay our sins, what can we do?
Meditate and understand the Shaivite philosophy. It is all about attachment and involvement. A detached person is not as affected by the situation as a person who is attached. We have to see things with more distance and be objective. What is real and what is illusion? Wealth we accumulate, for example, is merely an illusion. The value is subjective to what people put as a value. It is all in the mind, so why affect ourselves?
The moment we detach ourselves and see things more objectively, we become unaffected by the actions of our environment towards us.
On the next side, we do need to constantly create positive karma, which can be done through first loving everything and everyone, and being mindful of the consequences of our action. Be a positive light in everyone's life, be the love you can be.
One positive action at a time.
Take life and love it. Do good and love everyone.
