TILL ETERNITY
One of the most beautiful, and perhaps, actually the most important message that the ancient rishis tried to share through their teachings and writings in hindu scriptures, is that of love.
The Upanishads teach that love is the reason that God created this world.In the beginning was the one, and He was alone, He thought , may i be two, may i be many : and thus the world began!
In this world, we are born, we grow up in the love of our elders and family.
Then we make friends in school and play,to share more love. And then,when we come of age,we are supposed to find a completely newer avenue of love and get married.
It is worthy to note , that while solemnising a hindu marriage, the pundit invokes the blessings of all the Gods,but makes a special appeal to Shiv Parvati for blessing the newly weds, because, indeed Shiv Parvati themselves are looked upto as the ideal married couple!
They are the joint Ishtas of being conjoined in a sacred relationship, sealed by the blessings of elders, holy men and friends present as matrimony. But witnesses cannot guarantee an everlasting and happy bond; relationships grow from within.Shiv Parvati are the upholders of the fact that soulmates love till eternity. And wise Shaivites believe that each bride and groom is a representation of Parvati and Shanker, each has the potential of great love.
Know this, and blossom your own partnership into eternity.
