Om Shri Ganeshaya Namah πππ Ganesh Chaturthi is round the corner. The festivities have already begun across the nation, with devotees waiting to welcome Ganpati Bappa with much alacrity. Usually Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10-day long festival, but this year it will be celebrated for 11 days – starting 25 August. The Dasamati date is behind this year’s extended celebration of Ganesh Chaturthi. This will be followed by the departure of Ganpati on the 12th day i.e. 5 September.
