"Satyam Shivam Sundram ~ Truth is Shiva, and Shiva is Beautiful. To Him I bow, Who is born of none, Who is God of Gods, Who is giver of boons, Who is the conqueror of death, Who was, is and shall be even after eternity, Who is in me and I in Him. He's my very own, my Super self! Shivoham Shivoham!"
Many may ask as to how to win over any odd situation in life and achieve the boon of Lord Shiva, within a very short space of time. How to fast for 16 Monday's for Shiva who represents Beauty of God in Truth, the Beauty of Shiva, the Ultimate Truth of Realization, the Most Gracious among the Graceful! A very complex God, Shiva is not only temperamental and passionate but also deeply responsive to sincere devotion. Maa Parvati won him over by meditation and fasting. Parvati fell in love with Shiva, an ash-smeared ascetic. She could not get his attention because he was deep in meditation, and so she fasted to win him. Kama, the god of Love, intervened by shooting an arrow of flowers from his sugarcane bow at Shiva. With his concentration disturbed, Shiva opened his eyes and saw Parvati standing before him. He instantly fell in love with her. This goes to show that you can also win Shiva's blessings by fasting on Mondays. The pooja and fast on Monday is for both Shiva & Parvati. Inseparable ShivaShakti, soul mates, are worshiped for marital bliss and harmonious life and to get rid of all problems. You can also fast for 16 Mondays and he sure grants all the wishes. On this day, you are supposed to worship Shivalingam with Panchamrit, a mixture of milk, curd, ghee, honey and Ganga jal. Read or hear Shiva Tandava strotam, Ravan composed it and chanted wholeheartedly to please Shiva. And his wishes were fulfilled and boons granted. Chant Om Namah Shivaya, Shiva Panchakshri mantra which is the way to eternal bliss. You don't need to chant any thing else. Regular chanting is sufficient and it attracts all sorts of success in life. Recitation of this Mantra gives success and Siddhis. It has the power to boost a person's inner potential and strength. Shiva Panchakshri mantra helps to cleanse the body, mind and soul of all the stress, rejection, failure, depression and other negative forces that we face in our daily lives. It should b chanted when one feels weak and drained of energy; both mental as well as physical. Chanting Om Namah Shivaya gives peace both to mind and soul. It purifies your heart. Shiva himself literally means "the One who is eternally pure" or "the One who not affected by three Gunas of Prakrti (Sattva, Rajas, and Tamas)'. The word 'Shiva' means auspiciousness and perfection. Shiva is the power behind all the mantras. Shiva is the lord of 'Immortality'; He is the One who has conquered Death. The very utterance of his name rejuvenates the mind, body and soul. His Mantras have tremendous healing powers. Panchakshri has the power to fulfill one's desire and can be also used for attainment of the ultimate liberation - Moksha.
Om shiva Om Shakti Namah Shiva Namah Shakti ~ Jai ShivaShakti!!
