#ChaitraNavratri begins on 28th March 2017 (28 मार्च से शुरू होंगे चैत्र नवरात्र)
Chaitra Navratri is nine days festivity which starts on the first day of Vedic Luni-Solar calendar and falls in the month of March or April. #Chaitra is the first month of Vedic lunar calendar and because of it this #Navratri is known as Chaitra Navratri. Chaitra Navratri is also known as #VasantaNavratri which will end on #RamaNavami (5th April), the birthday of #LordRama. Hence Chaitra Navratri is also known as #RamaNavratri.
All nine days during Navratri are dedicated to nine forms of #GoddessShakti. Most customs and rituals followed during #ShardiyaNavratri, which falls in the month of September or October, are also followed during Chaitra Navratri. #GhatasthapanaPujaVidhi for Shardiya Navratri and Chaitra Navratri is same.
Chaitra Navratri is more popular in #NorthernIndia. In #Maharashtra Chaitra Navratri begins with #GudiPadwa and in #AndhraPradesh it begins with #Ugadi.
