Human life is beset with obstacles. We face oppositions and encounter difficulties in galore, and the whole of our daily activity may be considered as a struggle against all odds which come in different forms as the sorrows of life. The difficulties of life are, to a large extent, the very substance of life itself. The whole of life is a bundle of difficulties. We are terribly afraid of obstacles. So we cry: “O Lord, Remove the obstacles, clear the path, cleanse the road.”
The easiest way to remove your obstacles is by asking Ganesha for help. The great Lord called the Lord of Hosts, Ganapati, is worshipped throughout World. There is no Hindu who does not recognise the pre-eminence of the worship of this mysteriously conceived god called Ganapati whose name occurs right in the beginning of the Rigveda itself, the earliest of scriptures, where pointedly the name is taken in a Mantra, “gananam tva ganapatim havamahe…” You can invoke the power of Lord Ganesha is by repeating his mantras. The mantras are ancient Sanskrit words of power. Each syllable of a mantra resonates a certain vibration. Mantras are used in meditation, to focus the mind, but they are also used to invoke the blessing of a Deity. There are many chants to Ganesha, but a simple and powerful one is this:
“Om Gam Ganapataye Namah.” You can chant this so that you can easily and effortlessly plow through the obstacles. This particular mantra can be loosely translated to “Yo! Wake up Root Chakra energy of transformation so I can move through any obstacles in my life!” Most importantly, we are calling upon the powerful energy of Ganesha, the elephant headed deity, who is widely revered as the Remover of Obstacles and the Lord of Beginnings. When you’re setting goals or seeking wisdom as you pursue them ; call upon Ganesha as your guide. Ganesha can be especially helpful for ;
Any big or small endeavour in which you want to succeed. Writing and artistic projects. Seeking wisdom before making a big decision such as deciding whether to leave a job or change careers. Any situation where an obstacle is preventing you from success. Cultivating a peaceful household. ! 🕉🐘🕉
