GIFTS OF RETURN
They say Shiva is detached from the world
sitting far away in the mountains,
In endless and uninterrupted Dhyana.
ask your heart, where He is ever present
is He not , attached to you?
The mountain of devotion you have,
attracts Him too.
They say God and man are too far apart
a bridge cannot be drawn;
and never," the twain shall meet",
But it is from your heart that you journey,
not by the feet!
Seated in lofty mountains
caressed by wild winds
and buoyant breeze
absorbed in an endless contemplation,
of creation, bonding, and love,
thinking how to requit devotion
with gifts of return
His Himalayan play, Mahadeva
puts in motion.
