HELP

HELP
Our attitude of ‘not letting the other have the right of way’, which manifests itself daily on the roads, is, but a small example of the aggression and selfishness that the human psyche is getting reduced to. We all want to travel, so, why don’t we stick to fair driving, Why blame God for the traffic, and keep swearing at each other? The snake meditated.
“I am understanding” , he said aloud. “But surely, you as the Father, Nature as the mother, must help”.
“I will”, promised the Yogi. “Meditation, consequent understanding, generation of love and kindness is your part. Then, stop being unduly worried about the future. Be calm, leave some things to the great unfolding. It is important to understand the urgency of the time. But once known, it is better to be calm. The wisdom of calmness must descend upon you. This is where we need Om Shanti. Tranquility with understanding. This is not to be confused as indifference on the part of those who are attained; as you previously inferred. Hysteria will achieve nothing, possibly only further hysteria. If you are hysterical with the doctor, and go on insisting on your toothache, you may not be able to hear him say, open your mouth. I have the medicine. It is good to be emotional about suffering, but then, you must collect yourself ‘Sanchit’. In order to be able to cure, you must have precision, this is not to be confused with indifference. Learn Aurobindo”.
“Yes”, thought the snake, “the doctor must remain collected, he must have precision”.
