The real winners in life cultivate optimism. They have the ability to manufacture their own happiness. No matter what the situation, the optimist person will always find a way to put an optimistic spin on it. They know failure only as an opportunity to grow and learn a new lesson from life. It’s important to remember that everything is a life lesson. Everyone you meet, everything you encounter. They’re all part of the learning experience we call ‘life.’ Never forget to acknowledge the lesson, especially when things don’t go your way. If you don’t get what you wanted or your work is not getting accomplished, it only means something better is out there waiting. And the lesson you just learned is the first step towards it. Just recently, my long pending crucial file in one of the departments of ministry was rejected and returned. It was ekadashi and I was fasting. Heart wrenching indeed. My life could be changed with this one decision. But I chose to remain positive. Instead of feeling hopeless and miserable I could sense that God is leading me to some other direction. He has some better plans for me, I trust him! Positive thinking is at the forefront of every great success story. We need to trust God and find ways how he wants us to lead our life. We will find nothing but desperation, frustration, guilt, uncertainty if we resort to mere human methods in our attempts to find gods will in our lives. Believe that God doesn't want us to be forever frustrated and defeated. Know that he will do with his will, in his own time and in his own way what he had planned for us. We just have to learn to be patient. He knows everything, sees everything. Acknowledge his presence first. Too often we think foolishly that we are competent to make wise choices without his help. That's where we go wrong. Understand that he he created us, he knows better, he is in control of everything and he is the only one who will put our paths straight. Surrender to him and recognise his need in making all decisions in your life. If I can do it why can't you. "sarva-dharman parityajya, mam ekam saraṇam vraja, aham tvam sarva-papebhyo, mokṣayiṣyami Ma sucaḥ" ~ "Abandon all varieties of religion and just surrender unto Me. I shall deliver you from all sinful reactions. Do not fear." Bhagwat Geeta. Yes, the Lord takes all responsibility for one who surrenders unto Him, and He protects such a person against all reactions of sins!! Hari Om Tat Sat Namah Shivaya ~ Jai Shri ShankarNarayana!! Om Namo Bhagwate Rudraya Namah!!
Love, Light & Gratitude ~ Namaste ~ Shubh Somvar All you beautiful people!!
