Kaal Sarp Yoga/ Kaal Sarp Dosha. Kaal means time and Sarp means snake or serpent. Rahu is the head and Ketu is the tail of the serpent. Kaal Sarp Yoga is when all the planets of the horoscope are positioned between Rahu and ketu. But the reality is this that if all planets are well posited in horoscope, it's kaal sarp yoga, not Dosha. It will not be harmful, and can be supportive to beneficial results endowed by good positions of planets. Kalsarp dosh is inauspicious when position of planets is unfavorable in one's horoscope. Therefore, it is not wise to fear hearing just about Kaalsarp Dosh'.

By doing all these Kaal Sarp Dosha will slowly relieve you from your ill fate. Tarpan reduces the Ill effects of kaal sarp dosha. It is believed that the rituals of Shradh are helpful in reducing the effect of Kaal Sarp Dosha. So, Pitru Paksha will help in reducing the effect of Kaal Sarp Dosha, if you preform Brahman bhoj, pind daan and observe Shradh during Pitra Paksha.
