Lord Hanuman, the God of strength is mentioned as the eleventh Avatar of Lord Shiva. In Maha Bhagwat Purana, Skanda Purana, Brahddharma Purana and MahaNataka among others, Panchmukha Hanuman is mentioned as eleventh Rudra of Lord Shiva. It is frequently asserted that worshipping Lord Hanuman is same as worshipping Shiva himself. Hanuman Ji is sankat mochan, controller of the responsibilities of wind, fire water, Sky and earth. Wise people say that Sri Hanuman, Maa Durga, and Maa Ganga are the manifest divine powers in Kaliyuga. Hanuman Ji alone is capable of bestowing all four aims of life. Therefore if you want power, wealth, name fame happiness, then take shelter at the feet of lord Hanuman.
Lord Hanuman has many names. His most popular names include Anjaneya, Pavanasuta, Bajrang Bali, Kapisa, Maruti, Manojavam, Marutatulyavegam, Jitendriyam, Buddhimatamvarishtham, Vatatmajam, Vanarayuthamukhyam,. Shreeramdutam, Atulit Bal Dhamam, Hemshailabh Deham, Danujvan Krushanum Gyaninam Agraganyam, Sakal Gun Nidhanam, Raghupati Priya Bhaktam, Sankat Mochan, Phalguna Sakha, Laxmana Prandata, Dasagriv Darpaha and many more.
Each of them represent his qualities or his birth related information. He was born to Anjana. Hence he is Anjaneya. He is the son of Vayu or incarnation of Vayu, Hence he is known as Vayuputra or Pavanasuta. He has strong limbs and diamond like body. Hence he is Bajrang Bali.
When he is cheerful he is called Prasannanjaneya. When he is in a ferocious mood he is called Veeranjaneya. When he is in a meditative mood he is called Dhayananjaneya and when he is absorbed in devotion he is called Bhaktanjaneya.
