Maa Kali is a very powerful woman , worshiped on this land since centuries. She has been an independent force , all creating as well as all destroying . Kali is the female counterpart of Shiva, the Lord of the universe. Shiva is known as Kala which means time whereas Kali is the one who is beyond the limitations of time and space. Kali is Shakti or energy, the source as well as the cause of this creation, her motion is responsible for the birth of different dimensions of existence along with her masculine counterpart Shiva .
Kali hardly wears clothes and covers herself up. Devi is often referred to as Digambara, the one who is naked. The nakedness of Goddess isn’t something to be ashamed about which orthodox worshipers do these days, for people on spiritual path they understand the importance of Mother Divine’s nakedness. Kali is Prakriti or the nature, a creative feminine who created this huge diversity of creatures and natural resources on this planet. The nature hardly wears any clothing, she hardly hides anything from her children, she is always there all embracing and an empowering force, always available to each being in need and hence Kali is known as the Mother of this creation.
Kali is often shown wearing a garland of severed heads. The skull garland makes her look like a vicious force but it means something else. Throughout the ages whenever yogis, sadhaks and ordinary beings approached Kali, the Mother aspect of Divine, they asked her to make them free from the slavery of their ignorance , anger , greed , lust , black heartedness and other such emotions of their mind which were an obstacle in the path of enlightenment and liberation . These severed heads are the symbols of human ego which leads him to his own destruction. So when a worshiper approaches the Devi for enlightenment she firstly cuts these heads and frees the person from their slavery. 💀👅👁💀🎨🙏
Jai Maa kali ~ Jai Shiva Shankar 🕉🙏💖
