It's time for Monday Mantra. 📿🍁📿 yes, move close to Shiva, he will heal you. Let not anyone distract you, be in relationship with only Shiva. He is your protector and your shield. He protects his devotees from all the evil forces, and also from lust, greed, and anger. He grants boons, bestows grace and awakens wisdom in His devotees. It takes a long time to please other gods, but when you want to please Shiva, you can do so much more easily. Chant his mantras, sing his glories. Ever kind Bholenath remains trance bound, this is one aspect of Shiva. Other is the transformer aspect, the destroyer. He dances his thunder-dance of destruction. When he sees that the world is corrupted, he destroys it with his cosmic dance. This dance of destruction is actually the dance of purification and transformation. So one aspect is all love, all compassion. Here he is satisfied and pleased with every little thing. On the other hand, if he sees a little bit of imperfection in us, he tries to destroy it. Owing to His cosmic activity of dissolution and recreation, the words destroyer and destruction have been erroneously associated with Lord Shiva. This difficulty arises when people fail to grasp the true significance of His cosmic role. The creation sustains itself by a delicate balance between the opposing forces of good and evil. When this balance is disturbed and sustenance of life becomes impossible, Shiva dissolves the universe for creation of the next cycle so that the unliberated souls will have another opportunity to liberate themselves from bondage with the physical world. Thus, Lord Shiva protects the souls from pain and suffering that would be caused by a dysfunctional universe. In analogous cyclic processes, winter is essential for spring to appear and the night is necessary for the morning to follow.
