Magh Navratri this year begins on 28Jan 2017. Magh Naratris falls in the Shukla Paksha of the Magh. These days are good for people who are looking to solve their materialistic issues. The time is also good for Sadhaks and Tantriks. You have to show your faith to Devi Durga by keeping fasts and reciting shlokas. Navratris are observed 4 times in a year. Ashad, Ashwin, Magh and Vasant Navratri. From these 4, most people only know about the Ashwin and Vasanth Navratris. The remaining two are called the Gupt Navratris. Sadhana and all powerful tantric rituals are done during these Gupt Navratris.
During these nine days, various prayers are performed to Devi Durga in order to get her blessings bestowed. The old Vedic scriptures like the; Shri DurgaSaptshati, Shrimad-Devi-Bhagwat, and Devi Mahatamya, which are done to invoke the Goddess Durga, are read or recited on the nine days of the occasion. It is performed to get the Shakti and blessings of happiness in life, intellect and good fortunes. Devi Durga is very benign and has the power to eradicate all the pains from a person’s life.
A specific mantra is recited each day when Devi Maa Durga pujan is done. A devotee should say the Navarna Mantra “Aim hreem kleem chaamundaayai vichche”. Devotee should either keep a fast on each day, for 9 days, or at least the first day. πŸ‘πŸ•‰πŸ“ΏπŸ•‰πŸ”±πŸšπŸ”±πŸŒ€πŸŒ·πŸŒ€
