Ajamils time to die had arrived. He had committed sins his entire lifetime therefore his future was bleak. Ajamils heinous life replayed before him when he saw ferocious form of Yamraj. At that instance he called out his beloved son for help in fear. "O Narayana help me." The lord not distinguishing his name, at once sent his messengers to help him. ~ the name of lord is so potent that just by pronouncing it once, even by mistake, all of persons sins turn into ashes, just like one match stick possesses the power to burn a mountain of cotton into ashes. This is the reason mainly why most Hindus gave spiritual names to their children earlier. Anyone who has ever once pronounced his name with pure heart and feelings are always protected by God. The merits received by giving millions cows in charity, performing millions of sacrifices, fasting for thousands of years, giving a mountain of gold in charity, bathing in the Ganges for thousands of years and living an austere life in Prayag etc. can't equal to once purely repeating the name of lord.
So move close to God. Control your thoughts, train your mind. How comfortably you travel through life depends on how deeply you have grasped your mind. All problems and complications in life are result of our mind and thoughts. Once the stillness comes into mind, your life is bliss. He knows everything in advance, surrender to him. let him control your life. Love him and merge into him.
