There will be people who will think you're a great person, and there are those who will think you're horrible. We can't really change their impression of us because everyone is different, and how they see or interpret our personality will be different with each and every person.
We're unique enough to be hated, but conforming enough to be liked.
We're not here trying to win everyone's love and affection. We're here to be ourselves. To be free and happy to be ourselves. We don't need external affirmation, nor do we need the world's ovation. We're not circus performers.
We are Slim Shady.
We will be loved, and hated. And being hated is nice. It humbles us, it strengthens us, and gives us the opportunity to better ourselves, not for them to approve us,
but for them to hate us even more.
Because if anything, being hated by some people is a good thing. It is a draw of inspiration, of motivation. Not to be compliant to their lenses, but to prove to them that we can transcend their opinions of us.
We have all the opportunities to grow and be better. Take the path least travelled, that's where you will find the weirdos and the gangsters and questionable characters. Listen to their story and take a path even lesser travelled, get lost to find yourself and understand that in the end, we all have limited time here in life, but you can choose to use your tour of this world and take it with the tourists and the long lines and the souvenir shops.
Or you can join the other side, the orange side, the green side.
Your own side.
