Everything Is God - Pantheism
Everything Is God - Pantheism :
Back in history for thousands of years, from Lucretius to D’Holback and David Hume, other scientists and philosophers have been voicing views of the same nature, too. That while they did not embrace an absolute belief in a personal deity who looked into the minutest matter of all things, answered (or didn’t) every prayer and was personally responsible for the fall of each sparrow, they still felt there was something more to existence and the universe than outright unbelief. Since then, it’s been called pantheism.
Simply put — though perhaps too simplistically for the people mentioned above to agree with — it’s the belief that everything is God. Meaning no supreme being created the universe, but that the universe itself, all included, is the totality of creation. That’s because the literal meaning of the word pantheism, which derives from ancient Greek, is in fact ‘all is God’. Pantheists, therefore, don’t believe in a supreme being or a creator.
