Lord Ganesha's elephant head symbolises the immense wisdom of a person of Perfection.

Lord Ganesha's elephant head symbolises the immense wisdom of a person of Perfection. Wisdom is something that comes out of manana , independent thinking and reflection. This manana can happen only when one has taken in spiritual knowledge i.e. the process of shravana has taken place. This process of shravana or intake of spiritual knowledge is portrayed as Lord Ganesha's large ears where one listens to a teacher. It also symbolises that even the wisest people are always open to hearing fresh ideas and opinions. In other words, the wise are those who always keep an open mind.
Emerging from the Lord's head is the elephant trunk. This trunk visually depicts a well-developed intellect that arises out of wisdom, the elephant head. Our intellect is of two kinds, gross and subtle. The gross intellect is used to discriminate between pairs of opposites in the world; black and white, hard and soft, easy and difficult. The subtle intellect, on the other hand, discriminates between right and wrong; permanent and impermanent and is colloquially called the conscience. In a person who has realised the Self, this intellect is extremely well-developed; both gross and subtle. Such people have clarity of thinking and a clear sense of right and wrong. At a relative level, even people who have made progress on the spiritual path experience this. Choices become clear and life becomes a lot simpler. Without clarity of thought, our worldview is bound to be confused and coloured by our own prejudices and preconceptions. Lord Ganesha's well-shaped trunk depicts a crystal clear intellect that a person of Perfection develops.! 🎨🌀🕉🐘👁🐘🕉🌀🎨

Ravana is depicted as a villain in the Ramayana and rightly so by his deeds.

Ravana is depicted as a villain in the Ramayana and rightly so by his deeds. But one facet of Ravana less known is his knowledge and devotion to Lord Shiva. In Ramayana when Rama fires the fatal arrow on the battlefield of Lanka, Rama told his brother, Lakshman, “Go to Ravana quickly before he dies and request him to share whatever knowledge he can. A brute he may be, but he is also a great scholar.”
The obedient Lakshman rushed across the battlefield to Ravana's side and whispered in his ears, “Demon-king, do not let your knowledge die with you. Share it with us and wash away your sins.” Ravana responded by simply turning away. An angry Lakshman went back to Rama, “He is as arrogant as he always was, too proud to share anything.”
Rama comforted his brother and asked him softly, “Where did you stand while asking Ravan for knowledge?” “Next to his head so that I hear what he had to say clearly.” Rama smiled, placed his bow on the ground and walked to where Ravana lay. Lakshman watched in astonishment as his divine brother knelt at Ravana's feet. With palms joined, with extreme humility, Rama said, “Lord of Lanka, you abducted my wife, a terrible crime for which I have been forced to punish you. Now, you are no more my enemy. I bow to you and request you to share your wisdom with me. Please do that for if you die without doing so, all your wisdom will be lost forever to the world.”
To Lakshman’s surprise, Ravana opened his eyes and raised his arms to salute Rama, “If only I had more time as your teacher than as your enemy. Standing at my feet as a student should, unlike your rude younger brother, you are a worthy recipient of my knowledge. I have very little time so I cannot share much but let me tell you one important lesson I have learnt in my life. Things that are bad for you seduce you easily; you run towards them impatiently. But things that are actually good for you, fail to attract you; you shun them creatively, finding powerful excuses to justify your procrastination. That is why I was impatient to abduct Sita but avoided meeting you. This is the wisdom of my life, Rama. My last words. I give it to you.” With these words, Ravan died! 👁

There is nothing in this world that can trouble you as much as your own thoughts.

There is nothing in this world that can trouble you as much as your own thoughts. The mind is very powerful, it can invent, create, and allow you to experience love and joy. The mind is so powerful that it creates who we are and how we feel. This is why it is so important to learn how to control the thinking, because not only your joy and happiness comes from the mind, to a large extent so does your health because stress from over thinking leads to long term health problems. When we over think things, we twist everything around, we create worry and make everything seem much worse than it actually is. Over thinking creates problems you never had and do not exist. It makes your imagination run wild, and this can destroy you, remove your happiness and spoil your future. The solution is to learn to catch yourself when thoughts turn negative and a good way to stop the thinking is by breathing. Take long deep breaths and concentrate on your breathing, and this will calm you and return you to the present moment. The more you do this the easier it will become. Exercise is another way to reduce stress, even just walking is good, and this will create endorphins making you feel happier and more relaxed. Instead of over thinking and worrying, learn to control the thinking and overflow with happiness, kindness, and show the world how beautiful your life can be! Love, light & Peace 👁🐍🔱💀🌙🕉🌀🌿🕉📿🌷🎨

SATSANG -A CONVERSATION OF SHIVGANAS

SATSANG -A CONVERSATION OF SHIVGANAS
“Suppose that this whole world was Lord Shiva's temple? How would you conduct yourself?
Suppose that all beings were a precious part of that temple, how would you treat them?” Nandi addressed all the ganas in the evening contemplation.
“Oh, we are only elementals, not even humans, great Nandi,” lamented a gana.“And yet, you pose to us a question that involves morality, responsibility , and God alone knows what kind of philosophy, which we simple beings cannot comprehend. We have a simple philosophy, though. We love Shiva and can do anything for Him.”
“Move aside, you fool,” said a large elemental, Vrikshvirata—the one as vast as a tree trunk. Not all of us elementals are unevolved; we too have a knowing of the Dharma. And in a time when Dharma is receding I would like to share my view. Every time I meditate, I get to see the depth of potential we elementals have. If we go deeper and deeper within our selves, we will see that Shiva has given us all a certain divinity without the scope of expectations. Just surrender to HIM and have complete belief, you will start seeing the expectations gradually vanishing and you will start noticing another interesting phenomenon.”
“What is that?” asked Nandi.
“That we are actually getting into Satyug! With our own transformation!” said Vrikshvirata.
Another gana, even huger than Vrikshvirata, Mahima Giri—the ‘large like a mountain’—came forward and spoke, “I believe the whole world is a creation of God and God is always present in our heart. So I try to be humble always. I believe that whatever happens with you is the outcome of your own Karma.
So, I make a conscious effort to control my anger, try to love all and try to help people, animals and trees in any manner possible. I try not to discriminate between creatures. I strongly believe that being non-judgmental like our Lord, Shiva, one can actually be Shiva Tulniye- nearly like Shiva, by one’s good Karma. And that this itself is the best worship of our Master: to act as He would! Aum Namah Shivay!”
Nandi spoke gently.“The deepest meditation shows us that we are not by ourselves. We are all connected;we are consciousness; And so, being good to the 'other' becomes automatic and easy.
The Master calls it Sahaj Avastha, and have you not noticed He is always in that Himself?
Ah, yes. I did ask the Master once myself, when I was a younger bull like you Bhringi, I did ask Him how He was so forgiving to all those who tried to harm Him.”
“And…” asked Bhringi, his eyes widening in anticipation, pleased that he reminded Nandi of His own younger days.
“And He said, ever so quietly, “I forgive, to release myself, Nandi.”
The ganas nodded in affirmation.“Hail Shambhu, the Self-Created One. Hail Shiva, the Creator of Selves. We are all One.”
“And all our little selves are indeed lucky to have Shiva in our midst, as our chief! Just being around Him is moksha, "
He Then bellowed loudly for all the Ganas to hear .“There is no other place that is Heaven ; Heaven is here, to be in the Master’s Playground.”

It is said of Shiva that He does not incarnate. Of Parvati's bhakti (devotion), it is said She is one who can make even Shiva incarnate.

It is said of Shiva that He does not incarnate. Of Parvati's bhakti (devotion), it is said She is one who can make even Shiva incarnate.
He is Timeless, and yet when Parvati manifests, it is time for Shiva to arrive. He is formless, but when She arrives, He manifests form. She is His eternal soulmate, and they always find each other, through the mists of cosmic time, even through lifetimes; such is the magic of their love! For it is said, Parvati is His wife even from Her previous birth, when She was called Sati.
And I realised that behind the innumerable tales about Him,
at the core of the myriad roles that He plays out, Shiva's story,
is essentially a love story, over and over again

PASUPATI

PASUPATI
Rudra loved to watch the lions, the jungle dogs, the wild asses and goats and even the monkeys. He had observed the minute details of their bodily functions and imitated their morning stretches in His yoga.
Seeing this, the animals felt a gratification; they felt an immense dimension of themselves in His presence. He liked each of them for what they were. He realised that they were more wronged than doing wrong; that they were scorned, only because they looked different. He saw that mankind had an obsession for devising labels. Humans loved to customise descriptions of other beings, so as to suit their own parameters, ignoring the beauty of Nature’s bigger plan. He realised that to look for beauty only in beauty was a subtle ugliness.
He joked with them about the lighter side of everyone’s looks including, many a time, His own. His sense of humour unburdened them and they felt worthy. They knew they were not just beasts; they were part of a divine plan. An important part. And He was here in their midst, as Pasupati. Just His presence seemed to exorcise them of an age-old sense of being unwanted. They began to think of Him as God.

THE UNKNOWN YEARS OF RUDRA SHIVA
Even as a young man, Rudra was of strong built. And soon He started becoming aware of His physique. Every morning, as He bathed under a favourite waterfall, He would take time to see His own reflection in the still waters of the pool. Sometimes He posed in techniques, which could be described as a yoga of flexing. The animals laughed, even as their eyes widened in loving admiration.

Lord Shani is the Dev of Karma and his only work is to compensate your karma

Image may contain: flower and plant

Lord Shani is the Dev of Karma and his only work is to compensate your karma. If your karma are good, he will reward you. If your karma is bad he will punish you. Shani Dev himself narrates this to Maa Parvati. When Shani Dev came to see and bless Ganesha and kept his eyes low, Maa Parvati asked him why did he keep his eyes low and was not looking at the child. Shani Dev says ~ "Devi, All living beings enjoy or suffer according to their Karma, because whatever good or bad Karma has happened, it is never destroyed, not even in millions of Kalp. A Jeev takes birth according to his Karma, or as an animal or bird etc species. His Karma takes him to Narak or Swarg or even Vaikunth. He is born rich or poor, or as a king or a beggar according to his Karma only. Hey Priye of Shankar Ji, I was a devotee of Krishna from my childhood. I always thought about Him. I was always busy in doing Tapasya for Him. My father married me to the daughter of Chitrarath. always busy in meditating on my Prabhu Krishna, I saw Him everywhere. My wife don't like his and cursed me "From now on to whoever you look at, he will be destroyed." For the same reason, since then I don't look at anything and look below only fearing lest somebody dies."
