The life that you are living now is a dream of millions. Always be content with what God has blessed you with. Be happy and appreciate what you have.

ૐ The Shiva Tribe ૐ's photo.

The life that you are living now is a dream of millions. Always be content with what God has blessed you with. Be happy and appreciate what you have. Value the people, places and events in your life for what they are. It’s not about making massive breakthroughs every minutes, sometimes it’s simply about being, appreciating, and making small tweaks. Feel great about yourself. Contrary to what others may say, you do not need to rise to the top. For you are not a failure because you’re not perfect, or because you struggle to make ends meet, or have issues in the family. You are great because, despite your circumstances,, you keep getting back up after every fall. This life is yours and your alone. So Enjoy the process of learning and growing as you go. You have to acknowledge your troubles but gather strength from them, and laugh at your mistakes but learn from them. You have to learn to appreciate the lessons. Don't regret anything. Focus on what you have gained rather than lost from adverse past experience. Learn from daily little dramas in your life, but disregard them. You can’t let one bad moment spoil a bunch of good ones. Distance yourself from negativity, from the people and things that hurt you. Be wise enough to walk away. The world is not going to end. Know that you are strong. So Instead of resisting, Flow with reality. Some things don’t need fixing, they just need acceptance. Let the uncontrollable go, don't force anything. If you can't control things just let them go. Whatever is meant to be, it will be!! Love, Light & Peace ~ Boom Shankar!!
Namaste Dear All !!

THE MAGNIFICENT LORD

SHIVA, The Ultimate Time Traveller.'s photo.

THE MAGNIFICENT LORD
Sati would almost fall in sweet collapse at the Shivlinga.
And then She would remain there in bliss, for hours on end, day after each passing day. Till the days turned into months and the months into a year. Her entire life itself had become an offering, Her time a rosary count.
And then, one day, Shiva appeared.
He was magnificent.
Tall, and beautifully chiseled. His chest was large and firm.
A cobra wrapped around His neck was peering down at this chest, as if he had being doing that for an eternity.
Sensing Sati’s presence, the cobra arose swiftly from what seemed a blissful slumber, and darting out a forked tongue, he looked at her with hypnotic eyes, putting her into almost a magical spell.
Shiva wore a tigerskin and innumerable brown beads. The beads were woven together like rosaries and cosied themselves all along His upper torso. They were also draped around His arms in tight embrace as amulets. In His right hand He held a rustic looking trident, the Trisula.Tied on the top of the trident was a little drum, shaped like an hourglass.

Of so many wonderful epithets of love and affection for Shivji, i love Bhole Nath the most. For in the simplest of terms, He is that: A Bhola. Pristine in His own Godhood and Goodness. Only wishing the best for everyone, at all times. And in turn this matters to Him more than any knowledge and prowess; that each of us wish the best for all. He, being Bhola, loves Bhola people! Aum Namah Shivaye!

Saramkuthi is very important pilgrim spot on the way to Sabarimala..

Saramkuthi
Saramkuthi is very important pilgrim spot on the way to Sabarimala..
It lies on the traditional trekking path and is about 1 km from Sabari Peetam near Pampa. From here, a walk of 1.5 km leads to the Sannidhanam (Sabarimala).
The Saramkuthi is known for the Saramkuthi Aal, a big banyan tree around, this is the a spot ,where it is believed , Ayyappa and his soldiers discarded their weapons after the liberation of Sabarimala temple from the domination of Udayanan .
This act indicates the total shifting of this attention to personal spiritual advancement and to the renaissance of the Dharama Shaastha temple to the welfare of the whole mankind . It also symbolically indicates the potential evolutionary state in man , the realization of which would make all lethal weapons irrelevant in human society. Sharamkuttiyaal symbolisis that at a stage of his development man will have to inevitably discard his arms for a break through to a greater evolutionary stage and a super civilization.
It is to be specially noted that only the kanni –ayyappa-s those who go on pilgrimage for the first time, are expected to bring the arrow.
Others are supposed to have eradicated violence from their minds and refined themselves spiritually.
The major festival here is the pallivetta, which is held on the eve of the `Arattu’.The pilgrim has now come very close to the temple and the whole region is vibrant with loud chantings of the pilgrims and the explosion of the fire works offerings in the shrine.

Eighteen is considered as the code number to break into the soul of the Nature. The significance of 18 can
be traced back to the Vedic age. The first Veda, believed to be protected by Lord Brahma himself, had 18
chapters. Later, Veda Vyasa divided it to create the four vedas: Rigveda, Yajur Veda, Sama Veda and
Atharava Veda. Each of these vedas had 18 chapters. Veda Vyasa also wrote 18 puranas and 18 upa-
puranas. The Bhagavad Gita has 18 chapters and the Kurukshetra war lasted 18 days. There are many
mythological stories associated with the holy Patinettampadi.
Some believe the eighteen steps denote the 18 puranas.
Othere believe it represents the 18 mountains in the Sabarimala region: Ponnambalamedu,
Gowdenmala, Nagamala, Sundaramala, Chittambalamala, Khalgimala, Mathangamala,
Myladummala, Sreepadamala, Devarmala, Nilakkalmala, Thalapparamala, Neelimala, Karimala,
Puthuserrymala, Kalakettimala, Inchipparamala and Sabarimala
The first three steps depict "Bhoomi, Agni, Vayoo & Akash", 6 to 9 steps for Karmendriya, 10 to 15
for Jnanendriya, 16th for mind 17th Intelligence and 18th Jeevathma Bhava. Those who cross all these
steps are believed to achieve "Punyadarshan".
Another interpretation of the 18 Steps that resonates with the modern world we live is as follows:
The first five steps denote the indriyas or senses (eyes, ears, nose, tongue, and skin).
The next eight steps signify the ragas or vices -- tatwa, kama, krodha, moha, lobha, madha, matsraya,
and ahamkara OR desire, anger, avarice, lust, pride, rivalry, jealousy, and boastfulness
The next three steps signify the gunas -- satwa, rajas and thamas OR wisdom, activity, and stupor
The seventeenth and the eighteenth denote vidhya (knowledge) and avidya (ignorance).
We're born with the five senses but have a choice of using them for good or bad. In this kaliyuga, where
crimes and atrocities dominate, you can easily get detracted into seeing and hearing these bad things. How
do you focus your senses to see and hear the good things that elevate your spirit? You can extrapolate the
same to smell, taste, and touch. Using our senses to focus for the good of us and everyone around us
moves us closer to The Almighty.

Those who trust me and approach me for anything are dear to me. But dearest are those who want only me!! Yes, Shiva loves you.‪ Shiva is all compassion.

Those who trust me and approach me for anything are dear to me. But dearest are those who want only me!! Yes, Shiva loves you. Shiva is all compassion. He is waiting at the door of every heart, because whether you call Him or not, He is there. Whether you are a believer or a nonbeliever, He is within you. Behind every form, behind everything, there is God. But He won’t reveal Himself to you. You won’t feel Him unless you call Him. Prayer is the invitation. You must invoke Him through prayer and meditation. Chanting, singing and repeating the mantra are invitations. Only in the depth of pure silence can we hear God’s voice. He is not confined to a particular body or place. There is not even an atom of space where He is not. When you pray sincerely thinking of HIM, definitely that vibration will reach Him and reflect on His mind. Your prayers and your pure and innocent dedication will bring Him to you. It's true, Just give your mind to God, take refuge in Him, and you won’t lack anything in life. You will be given whatever you need. Your problems will be solved and you will find peace. Those who pray to God and meditate on Him sincerely will not feel a shortage of anything that is essential. That is God’s resolve. If nothing else, chant the 108 names of Lord Shiva, daily with love and devotion, you won’t lack anything.” ~ Shivoham Shivoham !!

Peace is found when you accept Shiva as the supreme proprietor, controller of your life, your friend and your father. Look back and thank Shiva. Look forward and trust Shiva. He closes doors no man can open. And he opens doors no man can close!  He can make all impossible things possible. To experience this we must have a positive attitude of faith. We must believe that our prayers will be answered. All things are possible to him who believes. If we can believe we shall see the glory of Shiva. We must put away all doubt and fear and instead fill our hearts with faith and confidence in Him. Praise him with a whole heart even in impossible situations. Pray fervently and persistently, he sure responds when you pray earnestly. Appeal. Knock. You will be heard. The door shall be opened unto you. Do not seek him far and wide, He is around you. He is within. He is the controller and governor of this world, body and mind. Shiva permeates all. Shiva is your sole refuge, benefactor and master. He reveals himself to you in the form in which you love Him most. Your Ishta Devta is Shiva himself. Concentrate on your Ishta in times of difficulty. Realise him through mantras, Japa and chanting. It is written in the Vedic scriptures that in Kali Yuga, the age of evil, Mantra yoga is the fastest road to wash all sins, self realisation, and liberation. According to Vedic calculations we are presently in Kali Yuga. In this age three of the four virtues of man are gone, the last virtue, truthfulness, being slowly eroded as well. When you look around you, how many people are really truthful, not just with words, but actually living in truth? How many are not selfish, how many are actually kind? Very few indeed. Know that In Kaliyuga we all will be tested, we all will face difficulties. If not, consider, there is one thing, one super weapon against evil, one powerful shield of protection you can still acquire now in the short time that remains, and that is lords name and his mantra!! Love, light & Peace ~ Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya Om Namah Shivaya!!!

A wise sailor in the ocean of this life, is who has a detailed knowledge of the laws of karma and nature can sail smoothly and reach the goal of life positively.

A wise sailor in the ocean of this life, is who has a detailed knowledge of the laws of karma and nature can sail smoothly and reach the goal of life positively. Understanding the laws of nature, you can mould or shape your character in any way you like. "As a man thinketh so he becometh". Think you are pure; pure you will become. Think you are noble; noble you will become. Think you are a human being; human you will become. Think you are Bad and you will become one! He who spreads happiness will always get such favourable circumstances as can bring him happiness. He who spreads pain to others will, doubtless, get such unfavourable circumstances, according to the law of nature, as can bring him misery and pain. Therefore man creates his own character and circumstances. Bad character can be transmuted into good character by means of good thoughts, and unfavourable circumstances can be changed into favourable circumstances by doing good actions. Remember that God is neither partial nor unjust. Remember You suffer on account of your own wicked actions. There is nothing chaotic or capricious in this world. Things do not happen in this universe by accident or chance in a disorderly manner. They happen in regular succession and events follow each other in a regular order. There is a kind of definite connection between what is being done now by you and what will happen in the future. Sow always the seeds which will bring pleasant fruits and which will make you happy herein and hereafter!!

🕉 These are few importance of women in sanatan dharma mentioned in Manu smriti and more in other scriptures. Sanatan Dharma is the only Dharma who allowed Girls to chose their Husband. Swayamwar, like what Maa Sita did, many Princess did, many Rajputanis did even at the time of British & Mughal Raj however due to British laws things have changed since couple of years. In Vaishanavism the womens are not identified by their husbands or fathers name but their unique identity linked with Krishna. Women get a name ending with Dasi & Das for men.

"Not by worship, charity, penance or study can I be known, only by pure love am I seen!" ~ There is only one truth. And there is nothing else. This world is his manifestation. All activities, happenings, doings, are His. All is He, and he is in all. "I am doing nothing. You are doing it through me. You are the doer. Thy will be done." "Tan Mann Dhan Sab hai tera, tera tujhko arpan, Kya laage mera!" There is no I, God alone is everywhere. Your heart should have ceaseless devotion to HIM. You should be ready to sacrifice all for it. You will draw immense strength and courage from within, from him who is the indweller of all beings. "On reaching me you will never again return to suffering" ~ I bow to the one who is the destroyer of all the fears of this Samsaar ~~ Om Namo Narayana ~ Om Namah Shivaya!

Shiva loves you, he loves us all.

Shiva loves you, he loves us all. And he created us for some purpose. Our whole reason for being on earth is to do the good deeds that Shiva Himself prepared in advance for us to do! His divine power has given us everything we need for life. Shiva wants us to spread goodness, even if someone hurts us. We are not supposed to mistreat the ones who hurt us. He wants us to bless them even if they continue with that hurtful behaviour. Blessing others is a powerful protection to keep you from becoming bitter, hateful, and bent on revenge. Yes, Its normal to curse back someone who hurts you. When we do that we fall into the same gutter the other person is already in. We stoop to their level. But remember Shiva doesn't want you to do that. Your actions need to be determined by focusing on what Shiva wants you to do. I know easier said than done, bless those who hurt you. Because God's blessing is far more important than the hatred from other people. He is watching every little action, nothing is hidden from him, he will protect you and bless you. Forgive those who hurt you. This enables you to be at peace in your heart. We can't change the behaviour of people towards us, but we can change our own behaviour by learning how we respond to them. Learn to pray for those who mistreat you. Pray that Shiva gives them wisdom. This helps you focus your attention on God. Instead of being consumed with the hurt, you focus on Shiva, the one who can heal all your hurt, and give you the power to respond in a radically new way. His name is like an ointment. Fix your minds on Shiva instead. Shivas presence creates Auspiciousness everywhere. Shiva is dukh harta. Shiva is kalyankaari. Shiva will provide you strength, he will destroy the darkness in you. Shankar is one who blesses everybody with peace. So be one with him!! Love, light & Peace ~ Jai Shiva Shankar Bholenath!!

When a woman is invited into the family through marriage, she enters "as a river enters the sea" and "to rule there along with her husband, as a queen, over the other members of the family." (Atharva-Veda 14.1.43-44)

ૐ The Shiva Tribe ૐ's photo.
The Vedic tradition has held a high regard for the qualities of women, and has retained the greatest respect within its tradition as seen in the honor it gives for the Goddess, who is portrayed as the feminine embodiment of important qualities and powers. These forms include those of Lakshmi (the goddess of fortune and queen of Lord Vishnu), Sarasvati (the goddess of learning), Subhadra (Krishna=s sister and auspiciousness personified), Durga (the goddess of strength and power), Kali (the power of time), and other Vedic goddesses that exemplify inner strength and divine attributes.
🕉 Divine power in the form of shakti is considered feminine. "Where women are worshiped, there the gods dwell." Or where the women are happy, there will be prosperity.
🕉 Women must be honored and adorned by their fathers, brothers, husbands, and brothers‑in‑law, who desire their own welfare.Where women are honored, there the gods are pleased; but where they are not honored, no sacred rite yields rewards. Where the female relations live in grief, the family soon wholly perishes; but that family where they are not unhappy ever prospers. The houses on which female relations, not being duly honored, pronounce a curse, perish completely, as if destroyed by magic. Hence men who seek (their own) welfare, should always honor women on holidays and festivals with (gifts of) ornaments, clothes and (dainty) food." (Manu Smriti III.55-59)
🕉 "O ruler of the earth (Yuddhisthira) the lineage in which daughters and the daughters-in-law are saddened by ill treatment, that lineage is destroyed. When out of their grief these women curse these households, such households lose their charm, prosperity and happiness." (Mahabharata, Anushashanparva, 12.14)
🕉 When a woman is invited into the family through marriage, she enters "as a river enters the sea" and "to rule there along with her husband, as a queen, over the other members of the family." (Atharva-Veda 14.1.43-44) This kind of equality is rarely found in any other religious scripture. Plus, a woman who is devoted to God is more highly regarded than a man who has no such devotion, as found in the Rig-Veda: "Yea, many a woman is more firm and better than the man who turns away from Gods, and offers not." (Rig-Veda, 5.61.6)

TO LOVE SHIVA GO BEYOND JUST LISTENING, TO LIVING IN HIS EXAMPLE.

The Yogi and the snake's photo.

TO LOVE SHIVA GO BEYOND JUST LISTENING, TO LIVING IN HIS EXAMPLE.
“I have heard mention of the so hum mantra by the great ones”, said the snake.
“The seed of Ajapa is resting in your very breath, said the Yogi, “lest you forget. This is a great mantra. Literally, it means ‘I am He’. Here, ‘He’ stands for God. But chanting a mantra without understanding it, is like blowing on a flute without understanding its contraption, only a wasteful wind will come out the other end. Have you heard of the man from the land of the fan? There was once a man who voluntarily got into a time machine and went back a few years to a land, where electricity existed but there were no fans. The man tried his best to explain the concept of the fan to the natives, but try as he did, his own knowledge was limited to being an end user, so, he could not go beyond drawing sketches. This knowledge was very frustrating for him, he couldn’t do anything except wait for an engineer to land from his time or someone else to be able to follow his words to a re-invention. Such is the state of wisdom today. We draw yantras, chant mantras, and speak in parables about fantastic achievements; these are truths from ancient memory, not just wild imaginations, what we need is engineers, not just users; deep love of Divinity, not just terminological interest”.

A WEDDING IN KAILASH

SHIVA, The Ultimate Time Traveller.'s photo.

A WEDDING IN KAILASH
The ganas were gathered in hordes outside the chamber. As soon as Shiva and Nandi stepped out, there was a profusion of garlands, slogans and happiness in equal measure.
“Har Har Mahadev!” shouted Bhringi. “Har Har Mahadev!” chorused the ganas. “Bolo Shiv Shanker Ki Jai Ho!! Hail our Lord, Shiva!!”
The cries rented the air increasingly, and then echoed back, as though the mountains had joined the chorus. For a moment, it seemed Kailash, the sturdiest mountain of all, was shaking.
“Jai Ho Shiv Shanker Bhole Ki, Hail our lord, Shiva,” said a gana.“Jai Ho Kailas Parbat Ki! Hail too, the Holy mount Kailash! Sabse uttam yeh prabhat, Aaj Niklee Hai Shiv Ki Baraat! Ah what an auspicious day has dawned. Today is the procession of Lord Shiva’s wedding itself! Saari Sristi Naach Utthe Hai Aaj!” he finished.“The entire creation is dancing!!”
One by one, they came and garlanded Shiva. Some hugged Him, others prostrated themselves completely, till Shiva raised them up gently, as though to put life back into them. Still, others blessed Him by placing their palms on His head, and Shiva accepted the blessings with the utmost humility. Although He was Lord and master of these hills and mountains, He knew some of the denizens were as old as the earth itself, and to be blessed by them, was indeed an auspicious omen.
