Lord Shiva is both Nirguna (formless) and saguna ( having a form).

Photo: Lord Shiva is both Nirguna (formless) and saguna ( having a form).
As the pristine consciousness, he is the formless shiv tattva and as its Ultimate embodiment,he is Shiv Shanker the yogi.
In a very modern analogy, if there is the creation of a film story, normally the producer director of the film is 'Unseen" but He is the most important essence that runs the entire film. But this is a different example,Life is a story, where, The creator enters His own creation for its benefit. Once he allots Himself a role in His own Play, it is his foremost concern to look to the welfare of all beings. Har Har Mahadev!! Aum Namah Shivaya!!!
