Shivji. Adi Guru. What can i ask of you on this day of Dassain?

Photo: Shivji. Adi Guru. What can i ask of you
on this day of Dassain?
The day to end something and begin anew?
what is the resident wrong within me, that i want you to purge and set me free?
ah, yes, mark your arrow upon the sense of separation from yourself!
light the torch of Divinity in me, my God , so that i can feel your presence ever after in my own existence. Give me an abiding feel of Divinity,
of your Tattva, without which i cannot breathe, but cannot always see.
This Dussera, Oh Shivji, come and dwell in my heart as the supreme light of the world that you are, that you have always been.
For our western Members, who may not know the Mythology:
Dussera is a festival in which God as Rama ends Ravana's life which is purportedly evil. But just After Ravana dies, Ram Hails him and tells brother lakshman that this was indeed a great soul, who just wanted to merge with the infinite. So deep down the symbolism is to purge the sense of duality from God.
Diwali, which is the celebration of the Homecoming of the Gods Rama and Lakshman back to thier kingdom, with Sita, is the symbol of reuniting with Shakti, thus too celebrated by the lighting of lights.
This is the Lila: we are born Divine, but soon forget that, to an Abyss of ignorance. To purge ourselves finally of this duality, is a return to our Divinity, a return to Light. So, what is Dussera for me, and what Diwali ?
Mark your arrow upon this sense of separation and finish the duality,Shivji! And then i will know the end of exile, and the homecoming of light.
Aum Namah Shivaya!!
