Correcting Mistakes
You cannot say that there should not be any drainage, or that there should not be any dirty swamps in the world. Swamps do exist on the planet, but you do not want your friend or dear one to fall into it. So you should simply guide them away or out of it. That needs compassion. See, how do you help someone when they have fallen in a ditch?
Just by your standing there and telling them, ‘Hey! Come out of that ditch’, is not going to help at all. You have to give them your hand, and they should trust you that you are surely going to help them out of it before they give their hand in yours.
You can pull them out of that situation only when you can catch hold of their hand. Only then can you transform people. Just by pointing someone’s mistakes to them is not going to work. You need to have that magnanimity, equanimity and that skill.
You may have the skill and magnanimity, but you also need to have equanimity.
You may have the equanimity and be able to keep your calm when someone makes a mistake, and you may also have the skill to correct them, but if you do not have the magnanimity of accepting them and uplifting them, then also it will not work. This is what has been my observation.

In Knowledge, you smile and laugh at the event. You grow out of the event with the power of knowledge

Q: If someone has been physically abused as a child, is it possible to come out of the trauma?
Guruji: Definitely, definitely. You know, our life is like a river. There is fresh water every moment in it. Meditation is THE way to get over trauma.

Look at your shortcomings and understand that at least someone is there to remove them. Have faith that there is someone who will remove your shortcomings. Just by having this faith things can move forward.

There is Devi energy (shakti) within all of us. Devi is not somewhere else, not in some other world. If we sit deep in meditation, the glow within the body will brighten, and will expand and spread outside. That is Devi Puja

If you have gone through a break-up which was intensely painful, that is because the pleasure in the relationship had been equally intense. It is craving that made it so painful, leaving you in the present moment with only a bag of emotions.

Q: What is right proportion of Sattva, Rajas and Tamas?
Guruji: You focus on increasing Sattva and the rest will manage themselves.
