🐘🎉 This festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is being celebrated this time on 22th August. On this day Lord Ganesha was born. Lord Ganesha is worshipped before doing any auspicious work in Hindu religion because he is considered as the Lord of Riddhi and Siddhi and is considered as the Supreme Pujya among all gods. Ganesh Ji is considered as a very smart and energetic God. The devotee who worships Lord Ganesha with a true heart, his every wish is fulfilled.
🐘🎉 Lord Ganesha was born on the Chaturthi date of Bhadrapad at noon, so Lord Ganesha is worshipped in the afternoon only.
🐘🎉 On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, the statue of Ganesh ji is installed by worshiping it in the afternoon and worshiping it with the whole law and legislation. On this day, the devotees plant big pandals in their areas and chant Ganpati Bappa Moraya.
🎉🐘 Ganesh festival lasts for 10 days and the statue of Lord Ganesh is immersed everywhere on the day of Anant Chaturdashi (1 September). Ganpati festival celebrated on the day of Ganesh Chaturthi has been going on for thousands of years. Ganpati has become India's most popular deity. He is considered the supreme scholar and intellectual.
🎉🐘 Many things are offered in the worship of Ganeshji in which Durva has special importance. Without this, the worship of Ganesh ji is considered incomplete. Lord Ganesha loves Durva very much, but Tulsi is not offered in his worship.
🎉🐘 According to Puranas, there used to be an Asura whose name was Analasur. Who used to disturb everyone from heaven to earth. He used to eat sages, sages, gods and common people alive. Then all the gods went to Kailash Parvat near Mahadev to get rid of this monster.
After listening to all the Gods and Gods, Shivji said that only Ganesh can end Analasur. After this, Lord Ganesh swallowed Analasur, due to which his stomach was burning which was not able to calm down. Then Kashyap Rishi made 21 knots of Durva and gave it to Ganesh ji to eat. Then the burning of the stomach was calm. That's why the tradition of offering Durva to Ganesh ji started.
🎉🐘 Basil leaves are not offered in Ganesh Puja. According to Vishnu Purana, Tulsi once saw Ganesh ji and expressed his desire to marry him, but Ganeshji rejected his proposal. On this matter, Tulsi ji cursed him to marry two in anger.
Then Ganeshji also cursed Tulsi and said that you will also marry an Asura. After which Tulsi realized his mistake and apologized to Lord Ganesh ji. Then he said that you will be going to give salvation in Kaliyug but you will not be offered in my worship. Then only then basil leaves are not used in Ganesh Puja. 🎊🎉🐘🌿🌷🌿🎊🎉🌷🌿🌀🎉🌸🐘🎊🕉🌸🎊🎉🐘🌸🌷🌿🌀✨🎉🎊
