In the Siva sutras, which is acknowledged as a great text on the truths of Lord Shiva told by shivji Himself to sage vasugupta, it is said that in the beginning we do not see shiva because we have forgotten our essential bond with God. Then there is Udhyamo bhairava, a sudden uprising of shiva consciousness. the spiritual juorney has just begun.
