Badrinath Temple is situated along the Alaknanda river in the hill town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand state in India,is a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu.The temple and town are one of the four Char Dhams and chota char dham piligrimage site.
In the present time the prayer service is done by Numburipaad and Dimri Brahmins of Lord Badrinath.Although Badrinath is located in the far north of India,the head priest,or Rawal,is traditionally a Nambudiri brahmin from Kerala,in South India.The Rawal is assisted by Dimri pundits belonging to Garhwal.........
