Renovation works to our Temple are progressing well day by day. More than half of the stone work of the padippura on west side is completed. As per the astrologer’s instruction, we are trying to finish the renovation work on south side as soon as possible. We are constructing the sapthahamandapam, a room for thanthri, a hall, the temple kalavara work and a long walkway on west side. Six to seven stone workers are continuously working since a month ago. We were able to complete most of the wood works of the building. The pending ones are the doors and the window frames. The building specifications for the renovation works were given by Sri Vasthu Acharyan Bramhasree Cheruvalli Narayanan Namboothiri.
Due to the glitches in the panchaloha idols of the urpazhasi devan, both the idols will be moved to the balalayam for renovating the sreekovil. Punaprathishta of both the idols will be done after the granite flooring work of the sreekovil and once the new panchaloha idol of the urpazhasi devan is ready. The date for balalaya prathishta is on 15th November and the date for punaprathishta is in March.
We are requesting for everyone’s prayers, your presence and the financial assistance from our Payyan clan and our well-wishers to help pay for the ongoing renovation works.
Punaprathishta will be held for 5 days and the thanthri has to stay at temple for this. We have to complete the room for thanthri as soon as possible along with the other room works.
We have decided to construct an ootupura, a thanthrimadam and a shanthimadam in the recently purchased site later. Firstly, we plan to complete the bathroom works on that site.
