SHIVA BHAWANI DARSHAN

कर्पूरगौरं करुणावतारम् संसारसारं भुजगेन्द्रहारम् |

सदा वसन्तं हृदयारविन्दे भवं भवानीसहितं नमामि ||

To the one who is as pure as camphor, the embodiment of compassion,The one who is the essence of the world, with the serpent king as his garland , residing in the lotus-like heart of His bhaktas. Always accompanied by Parvati , His eternal Consort, the Goddess Bhawani Herself, to both I bow .

Those who love Lord Shiva, also honour Parvati as the Universal mother, She is Bhawani , the actual creator of the world, and must always be worshiped along with Shiva, as They are always together.The Darshan of both together is the highest blessing. In turn, Shiva also honours the bhaktas, please note that Nandi is Shiva's greatest bhakta, and Shiva Himself has Nandi on His dhwaja (flag).This clearly means that the Vilasa ( play) of God has a great place for those who love Him.

Mahadev Shiva is the Lord Emperor of the Universe.

But if He had to take a title of King, the right honour would go to Udaipur, where long years ago, Bappa Rawal, the founder of the Mewar dynasty, around 734 AD established that Shiva is the King of Mewar, ' Mewar Maharaj ' ,' who rules from the Eklingji temple .

Shiva is Ananta- the endless.

 

Shiva is Ananta- the endless. So coming , going, falling ,rising, creating, destructing, this keeps on happening endlessly!

There are many Universes, many stories, many doors.

And yet you yourself are a Universe too.

Open the door of your heart and look deeply, is He seated within?

Because that is where the real story begins.

NANDI GAN

Nandi is Shiva’s vahan. He is His most faithful attendant.

And Nandi has been declared by Shiva as the chief denizen, the Top Gana. Nandi is His best friend, His loyal devotee, and His vehicle for transport, all rolled into one.

He is Shiva’s ride, so to speak, but even when they are not journeying, Nandi seats himself at the outer gates of Shiva’s chamber; He thinks of himself as a guard, and is indeed, the most formidable obstacle to anyone who wants to reach Shiva.

He is never off duty.

She is His eternal soulmate, and they always find each other, through the mists of cosmic time, even through lifetimes; such is the magic of their love! So often was He referred to as ‘Shivparvati’, that this plural had become synonymous with togetherness.

Who asks are we two or are we the one?

What does it matter when we are together

O lord of mine, for an eternity,

I am the priestess of all you become.

And when you say it is done,

We are ready to begin all over from step one!

This, the Shiva Mayam of Anant

an eternity did I say?

O King Emperor of my heart, we have only just begun .

TO THE MAHADEVA IT KNOWS!!

Just like all the waves

must to the Ocean go back,

O lord, from which they arose,

My existence is like a little drop,

that yearns for its turn,

to return to the Mahadeva

it knows.

one , by one, we surely come,

give our salutes and take our bows

drop, by little drop, we come

to you

till the end of the World play,

till nothing is left ,in the container that’s cast away!

and then,

you bring out the tide of a new creation,

your damru has spoken

the world awoken, once again !

who wants Moksha, O Lord?

wherever you make your world, I long to stay!

HEAVEN

 

HEAVEN

He was a Time traveller; He had been to many lands in many times and had known many different people. But, no matter where it was that He sat, at the thought of Heaven, images of snow-clad mountains and a certain indescribable joy of togetherness would inevitably come rushing to His mind. Another image almost always linked itself to the landscape: A gypsy tribe of fierce men and gorgeous women dancing around a bonfire of pure warmth, in a bonhomie that was incomparable in the entire Universe.

RUDRA!

Eko hi rudro na dvitīyāya tasthe ya imāṃl lokān īśata īśanībhiḥ

There is only one,

Rudra!

No second one,

Ruling all ,with powers great.

TO FIND THE UNCROWNED KING

 

TO FIND THE UNCROWNED KING

Between the twists and curls

lefts and rights of life

calm down, and find Him seated

dot center, in the middle,

Inside.

When one breath goes

and the other comes in

find Him entering your life, within.

Ida or Pingala, moon or Sun

Find the center, where all is one.

Hatha! be persistent in your yoga,

sitting on the earthy ground

through Guru mantra, raise your divine wing

but not a robotic chant, you are human,

fill it with all your being,

tan man dhan, give it your all

to find Shiva, the uncrowned king.

One sure mark of Shiva, is that He is bound to Parvati.

He is Timeless, and yet when Parvati manifests, it is time for Shiva to arrive. He is formless, but when She arrives, He manifests form. She is His eternal soulmate, and they always find each other, through the mists of cosmic time, even through lifetimes; such is the magic of their love!
