Shiva by nature, is trusting and loving. But this does not mean that He is deceived by appearances, or blinded by the craft of words ; He gazes straight at the heart, weighing the intent- bhaava. And so, for those who walk with love, He reveals compassion, and for the cunning, He is both the destroyer and the redeemer, returning everyone to the purity of Divinity. In the end, none can escape the truth before Shiva.
