KAAL BHAIRAVA
Mahadeva Shiva as Kaal Bhairava,
He can protect us from anything, in time.
But more importantly, He can also be our protector from time itself.
His faithful hound is the representative of one who can dig out anything from what lies beyond our perception; And so, to Bhairava, nothing can remain hidden or buried.
For Shiva is Trikaal, one who holds the past and future in His present.
God is both, just like a visa officer welcomes positive visitors,
but does not allow evil to creep into his country. Kaal bhairava is the Kshetrapal (guardian ) of Prithviloka. Mahadev waits for a long time before decimating evil, so long, that many forget that God exists, and this is the real intent: When evil goes to the extent of thinking God does not exist, He shows up, and the rest becomes cosmic history.
