One should understand that problems occur in our life in order to break the ego of man's 'I'. So that his 'I' may break and he may go closer to Shiva. As the feeling of 'I' of one's ego starts decreasing, there is an awakening of feelings towards His Shiva. One should face such problems in one's life with courage. Each misfortune should be considered as a forward step on the ladder to reach higher consciousness, to draw close to his Shiva.
