Latest Update On The Progress Report On Our Temple Restoration Works‏ At AROLI, KANNUR

The masonry work of the chuttambalam flooring is progressing at a rapid pace. About 7-8 workers have been working continuously for last two months. Some of them are staying in the temple itself to ensure the work is not delayed.

I was told that the carpentary work had been planned to start yesterday. Since there was a heavy rain in the morning, it has been postponed to today. The wood has to be sized up first and then they have to be planed. After sizing up the whole batch of wood now available here, we may need to source more wood locally if required. The carpenter told us that once the works on the wall and sizing of the wood are completed, the fixing of the wood can be finished fast.

By God's Grace, all the works are moving fast. It is expected that the complete restoration works will be finished either before the Prathishta Dinam in January or before Kaliyattam on March 4.

We have attached some photos of the on-going construction works. Since the photos were taken on a mobile phone, they lack clarity. Please inform everyone about the progress of the restoration works to our Kshethram. Will keep in touch with further details in the next mail.

Please pray for the smooth completion of the restoration works in the near future.
