THE CANDLE FLAME
Gold, it flickers,
like the ripples in the pond (just disturbed)
making its shadow dance
like a tipsy butterfly,
like a merry go round.
Gold, it flickers
now smalling in size
and subdued
braves the wind to stand up again
Gold, it flickers,
now talling in size,
reach for the sky.
It makes me wonder
the what fors and why nots of life.
Gold it flickers,
melting away its old,
collecting this life in a pool,
tis making way for new.
