ATMAN

Where the winds may not blow,
You soar.
Where the fires may not burn,
You glow.
Where the waters may not reach,
You flow.
Atman,
Who enables who?
The body is just a garment
mind, a stylist .
What wakes
In the lion to roar.

Footnote: Atman is the innermost Self in each creature.It is also the individual connection with the divine,Paramatman. The lion is a favourite analogy with spiritual preceptors,who work tirelessly on their disciple’s self realization , and the roar signifies the disciple’s awakening.}
