I think it’s important to give ourselves permission to not always be happy. So Don’t blame yourself. You’re down. It happens. It’s not your fault, you’re not a bad person. Remember that you haven’t always felt like this before. You’ve felt better before and you’ll feel better again. Step back and self-reflect. Reach out to someone. Don't bottle up your feelings out of fear that You would be judged. Talking and sharing mitigates pain. Reconnecting with people almost always puts you in a good mood and fills heart up with love. Listen to music. Music can heal, put you in a better mood, make you feel less alone. Play with pets. Spending quality time with a loving pet can instantly make your heart and soul feel better. Go for a walk. Walking always helps clear head and shed negative energy. Don’t drink too much, Booze is a depressant, so it’s likely to make you feel worse rather than better. It plays merry hell with your sleep too. Practicing genuine gratitude on a daily basis is a major source of healing. When you will step back and notice everything you have to be grateful for, it will make you feel like you have everything you need and that nothing is lacking. Sometimes You feel depressed when your priorities are out of balance. Give a fair amount of attention to all the priorities in life, such as work, relationships, health, and personal happiness.
