How do I worship Lord Shiva?

 

Our mind always starts wandering when we start to worship

The very first thing you should do is to start meditating for at least 10 minutes daily along with chant of aum for 5 minutes ( aum is the voice of lord shiva, aum is the consciousness, vibrational form of lord ❤️)

Wake up at 5 am

For morning prayer you can do

• Recite shiva tandava stotra, panchakshara stotra, shadakshara stotra, shiva namavali ashtakam and read shiv raksha kavach daily
• Offer water, chandan and one flower daily to Shiva lingam
• Don't forget to worship maa Parvati along with lord Shiva

For evening prayer

• Evening prayer is most important because only true devotees can offer evening prayer, dealing with problems of day to day life it is next to impossible for mind to do evening prayer but if you love Shiva you will do it
• Do read shiva chalisa, rudrastaka stotra , vedasara shiva stotra along with one round of mala chanting aum namah shivaay
• You can watch devo ke dev mahadev along with dinner, you need to focus your mind on lord

Now , if you want lord Shiva you need to do selfless devotion, don't worry he will take care of your material needs also but try not to ask any material thing from him

• Ask him ,grant me your selfless service and eternal devotion
• Keep me in you best devotees
• Dear Shiva , you would be my topmost priority in any situation of my life
• My devotion will be doubt less , selfishness less , and it keep growing
• Show me the right path so that i can achieve my final destination, that is you
• Keep me away from illusions

You have to be morally correct to worship him

• Respect females and don't hurt anyone
• Don't compare any god with lord Shiva
• Keep your ego minimum, keep meditating
• Never ever think you are great devotee of lord shiva, this is just a form of ego

Remember what shri krishna said in bhagwat geeta 🙂

In the last , chant Aum Namah Shivaay as much as you can , 50 or 70 million time if possible and you will get connected with Shiva consciousness, the supreme reality of universe
