This a very interesting question and doubt too everyone need to get. First let's know who's Maa Saraswathi. Saraswathi maatha a form of diety used as icon representation to gain knowledge, not engineering sciences or anatomy but this is different knowledge called as gnana.
Ganana maarg is the ultimate in Sanathana Dharma, even in yoga, meditation and chanting of any manthra too. Gna - shabdh we use for memory. Gnana - memory and agnana is something like lack of knowledge.
Now let's to step ahead. She's considered as consort of Prajaapathi, mean father of creation, creatures and prajaa; people. Means She the one who bears and Prajaapathi, He the one who's donor. It's not sperms or nine month pregnancy am discussing. Its the concept and iconic representation.
Maha Lakshmi took herself into three attributes, one is Energy(Shakthi), next as Knowledge(Gnana) and ultimately what can be achieved with these two as Lakshmi; 8 kinds of basic joys.

Going back to the basic question, that how to rever Saraswathi, Maa. Now, we know that we are going to rever mother of knowledge, Brahma Gnana. Who needs it? Only a seeker who surrenders to her as a insane lacking of knowledge.

As a Sanskrit enthusiast I was looking at the great works in Sanskrit and latter to Valmiki & Vyasa we just can't forget another name Kaali-Daasa. A great poet.
I took him as as iconic to get closer to Maa. Kaali-Daasa could utter most tongue twisting single line praise on goddess and it's not he spelled it out rather she herself has manifested in the form of his akshara pronounced, uchhara.
Be a insane and no need to have any manthra or aasana(pose) or any nyasa(action) to perform her manifestation. Maa can be easily invoked with insane surrendered mindset and She's Maa and her ultimate job is to feed her hunger striken children. So, should be the desire to reach her and sure is that she can be reached.
