ANNUAL MERDEKA PRAYERS AT THE AYA & DATUK PULAU BESAR KOVIL, BUKIT RASAH, SEREMBAN, NEGERI SEMBILAN, MALAYSIA (31 AUGUST 2024).

The Annual Merdeka Day prayers were held at the Aya & Datuk Pulau Besar Kovil, Bukit Rasah, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan this afternoon (31 August 2024).

Our Payyan family member attended and offered his prayers.

A delicious lunch meal was served to everyone after the Annual Prayers.

The Siva Sutras

शिव सूत्र

The Siva sutras are the most important Agama, said to have been revealed on the Samkaropala rock at the Mahadeva mountain,and are considered to be a revealed book of the Yoga: Supreme identity of the individual self with the Divine. Swami Muktananda of Siddhapeeth said the Sivasutram is a highly respected treatise of Kashmir Saivism, and it contains the highest truth as expounded by Lord Siva.

श्रीबौधपञचदशिका

Sri Bodh Pancadasika of Abhinavagupta.

Fifteen verses of awakening to your Divine reality.

The Bodha Pancadasika says " In the universe, there is ignorance, and there is a way to get rid of this ignorance.This is the way of meditating in the activity of the world." It talks of the fact that

Lord Siva creates this external universe for the sake of realizing his own nature.

Pratyabhijñāhṛdayam

Heart ( hṛdayam) of Recognition ( pratyabhijñā)-

The Pratyabhijnahrdyam prepared by Ksemaraja, the disciple of Abhinavagupta, serves as a digest to the Prtyabhijna philosophy of

Self Re-cognition in the Kashmir Shaiv Darsana. It talks of you as jiva Re- cognising your essential nature as Siva.

TO KNOW HIM ONCE MORE

Shiva is the power that seated quietly on earth, creates a whole Universe. In this Universe, there are billions of Suns and uncountable planets, indeed far more beautiful than earth. But there is something magical about this little planet. Something so magnetic that it makes the Gods of the far away galaxies want to take birth on earth even if they are to be an ordinary human being.

And that magic is Shiva.

Those who have ever known Shiva once, want to know Him always; Want to be with him forever. And when a God in the most distant galaxy awakens to the memory of his own time with Shiva, he leaves everything in his kingdom like a dream and begins his travel plans to earth, to be with the uncrowned King once more.

Parvati worshiped Shiva, thought of Him, meditated upon Him, loved Him, served Him.

And Shiva:

He never thought of Parvati as separate from Him.

His existence in one word, is Parvati.

Parvati is the greatest power against all demons;

Shiva is Her Back. And yet, Shiva in turn is protected by Parvati and Her unsurpassable magic.

In the play of Shiva and Shakti, everything about manifestation is etched into consciousness:

Shiva remembers each moment of Hers in an eternal present.

THE ALL SEEING EYE

THE ALL SEEING EYE

They say there is an 'All seeing eye'

They say the eye is in the holy sky.

But some who climbed the mountains

declare ,He is not one who rules from afar,

not a distanced God, too Godly to perceive

He is here, with us, a new world to conceive.

Shiva.

The one who wears not a crown

nor assembly halls does keep

nor a kingdom in outer space, but is down to earth

a mountain God, a simple heart.

The 'all seeing eye' is not to judge:

God doesn't have to show up just to show His might,

It was always more about love, and light.

Shiva- The one who is good, and means love

The one who is looking to you, for making below as is above.

In His dream,

we are all awake.

But, as He awakens,

slowly, we fade.

Where is everyone? “Where is everyone”, He cries

The woods are there, lovely, dark and deep,

and He knows these woods are His

Then, where is His mate? Where are the kids?

"This time" He swears, " I'm going to make sure everyone exists,

no pralaya any more, when i open the third;

I shall awaken together with the children,

the trees and the birds, to dance" He resounds:

Not me alone again, in my trance.

MA DURGA KALI

 

MA DURGA KALI

It is this Mother who gives you blood, breath and life. She is capable of conception, creation and deliverance. But she can draw blood too, cause suffering; even death, as a holocaust shadow, depending on her form. Ma Has Atmabodh but knows Shatrubodh too, you cannot mess with The supreme God. It is the same fire that illumines, and the same that consumes the pyre. But actually, whatever she does, is for your growth. In order to strengthen you, she weakens you first. And after the holocaust, she can make you rise like the phoenix. Verily, She can make you the phoenix even without the holocaust. You must understand this and invoke her benefactions intelligently, by resonance, by being yourself benevolent.

THE RIDER OF A TIMELESS TIME.

He is the Rider

of a timeless time.

the knower He is ,

of the uknown sign

The dancer of the Universe

at the start of it all

He is the poet and writer of the whole

His single poem is the making of the world.

He is the keeper of our breath

in this whirlwind space we call life.

He is Shiva the lord, Mahadev.

the ONE we love

The great God, Shiv,

"What is below?: He says, "What indeed Above?"

"You are all my own" , whispers softly

the down to earth ruler of the sky

Shiva's penchant for creation is unstoppable,

His skill for doing so, unsurpassed.

Lord of the Tantra of all manifestation,

Ask not what the Lord can do, the Ganas scream, He can do it all,

what you can think, and what has never ever been thought.

Shiv ki siddhi saari srishti.

Har Har Mahadev!

Aayee gano ki baraat Mena Rani ke dwaar

sing the Ganas as they make their way to Queen Mena's Gate.

JUST LIKE

Just like, sometimes you begin to count

how many love you

for you,

And not for something

to which they put material value

Money

Power

Position

Pleasure

Sometimes, you begin to count only those who see

Love and Caring,

Companionship and Sharing.

And then, you don't require a long list to count:

it is on your fingertips.

And just like that

God too knows

who looks for Him

with only the wish

of being in His heart.

And here's the trick:

Deep inside our self

we do each know

if we are there, on that list.

Is it time

Shiva is blowing the conch

have the gateways to Heaven begun

even through the storm?

A million lives have we lived

in million forms

is it time to go beyond?

Is it the bag we must pack

or just the mind?

This journey to Him

is all on the inside.

As we awaken this morn

and sight

carefree birds in the skies

are we ready for our flight?

This was your play all along O Mahadev,

just we who did not get it right

and now,

from earth to sky

we hear clearly the conch
