PRASADA OF SHIVA DARSHAN
We all know that Bhaktas often offer things to Shiva to show their devotion and gain His favour. We offer flowers, sweets, milk, curd, honey, Bilva leaves and so on. Some people even offer gold and precious things as a mark of respect. While Shiva accepts all these offerings with humility , what He really looks at, is the devotion- the bhaava with which we offer things. The greater bhaktas offer not just things but themselves, Tan, man dhan, body mind and soul.
But it could also be that Shiva is about to hand the flower to a bhakta, as His prasada!
Saiva Yoga is the beautiful prasada like a flower revealed by Lord Shiva , who is always mindful of spirituality, and is ever eager to share his wisdom with Devi. TheDevi, in turn asks Him to educate all the children. Therefore His great revelations are recorded in the Tantras, Puranas, Samhitas and Siva Sutras of the Kashmir Rishis for the benefit of sincere seekers.
Shiva’s yoga is the supreme spiritual essence that illuminates both the inner and outer aspects of life to their fullest. Shiva yoga is beautifully expounded by the sage Vasugupta , in the “Siva Sutras”, a text revealed to him by Shiva Himself, for the guidance of those who wish to make this journey on earth a happy travel. Alternatively deemed the Shiva Upanishad,or Shiva upaya, this teaches of three possible systems of Shiva’s mystic way, graded to suit the seeker’s present level of attainment.
The highest awakening is called Shambhav Upaya- the plan of travelling across the Ocean of life with Shambho Shiva's Anugraha, grace.
Aum Namah Shivaye.
