SHIVA DHYANA
He embarked upon the fact, that he was not just body and mind. There was an actual realisation in him , of an eternal being, an eternal Self. This realisation was the culmination of his combine of philosophy, meditation, and experience analysis. The realisation was so great, that it should have been enough to relax him about the limitations of physical existence. It should have marked the end point of his quest. But, it did not overwhelm him so. He did not rejoice in the knowing of the Self for long. He reasoned that by knowing the existence of an eternal Self, he had only unveiled part of the mystery. Self-realisation, could not just mean realisation of the Self, it must have something to do with the utilization of the Self so realised; from Jnana to Vijnana.
