Guruji, will the entire mankind achieve true happiness?

Photo: एक ओर समता है और दूसरी ओर विषमता | इन दोनों में कौन उत्तम और कौन निकृष्ट है—इसका निर्णय करें | विचार करनेपर यही निर्णय होता है कि समता ही अमृत है और विषमता (राग-द्वेष) ही विष है, जो सब अनर्थों की जड़ है | अतः समता को दाहिनी ओर की पंक्ति में और विषमता को बायीं ओर की पंक्ति में रखें | एक ओर दूसरों का हित करना है और दूसरी ओर दूसरों का अहित करना | इन दोनों में से कौन उत्तम है, इसपर विचार करनेपर यही निर्णय प्राप्त होता है कि किसी को दुःख न पहुँचाकर अहंकार, ममता, स्वार्थ और आसक्ति से रहित हो तन, मन, धन आदि द्वारा हर प्रकार से उसको सुख पहुँचाना ही अपने लिए कल्याणकारक और उत्तम है | इसके विपरीत काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह, भय आदि के वश में होकर किसी भी प्रकार कहीं कभी किसी निमित्त से किसी प्राणी की आत्मा को किंचिन्मात्र भी दुःख पहुँचाना अपने लिए पतनकारक है | जब यह निर्णय हो गया कि दूसरों का अहित करना हमारे लिए पतनकारक है, तब हमें दूसरों के हित को दाहिनी ओर की पंक्ति में और दूसरों के अहित को बायीं ओर की पंक्ति में रखना चाहिए | एक ओर सत्य-भाषण है और एक ओर असत्य-भाषण | इन दोनों में कौन उत्तम और कल्याणकारक है | इस विषय में अपने आत्मा से पूछनेपर यही उत्तर मिलता है कि जो बात जैसी देखी, सुनी, समझी हो, उसको न घटाकर, न बढ़ाकर कपट छोड़कर ज्यों-का-त्यों सत्य कह देना ही उत्तम है | इसके विपरीत, काम-क्रोध, लोभ-मोह और भय के वश में होकर मिथ्याभाषण करना पाप है | जब यह निर्णय हो गया, तब सत्यभाषण को दाहिनी ओर की पंक्ति में और असत्य-भाषण को बायीं ओर की पंक्ति में रखें | एक ओर ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन है और एक ओर व्यभिचार | इन दोनों के विषय में विचार करनेपर यही निर्णय मिलता है कि ब्रह्मचर्य का पालन करना अर्थात् किसी भी स्त्री या बालक के साथ कुत्सितभाव से श्रवण, दर्शन, स्पर्श, वार्तालाप, एकान्तवास, चिन्तन, सहवास, हँसी-मजाक आदि क्रियाओं को न करना तथा कामोद्दीपक वस्तुओं का सेवन न करना ही श्रेष्ठ और कल्याणकारक है | किन्तु काम, क्रोध, लोभ, मोह के वशीभूत होकर इसके विपरीत आचरण करना—व्यभिचार करना महान पतनकारक है | अतः ब्रह्मचर्यपालन को दाहिनी पंक्ति में तथा व्यभिचार को बायीं पंक्ति में रखें | Om Namah Shivay ***Write " Om Namah Shivay " if you ask for God's blessing on your life today. Q: Guruji, will the entire mankind achieve true happiness?

Guruji : This is like asking me will all the trees flower at the same time? No. Will all the people be at the same level at every place? No. There is winter some where, fall some where. Will everyone be happy at the same time? That situation appears to be far fetched. Happiness has never left anyone's life untouched. The length of it and the timing that depends on karma and vivek (understanding). With understanding you overcome karma.

Q: What is the secret to your fashion statement?

Guruji : In style and fashion, no statement is required. No statement is made in fashion. Fashion is just appearance. But anything you do, do it with style!

You should improve your communication. Then things will change. Win over people with love and skilful communication.

Q: Guruji, I have been on this path for many years. Many juniors have gone ahead. I have not been taking enough responsibility.

Guruji : That is why. You’re hesitating to take responsibility – this is the problem. Just come out of procrastination. Take responsibility. Have courage, faith and self-confidence. Work will be done then.

Q: There are some blind faiths like not doing certain things on Tuesday or Thursday, or not crossing the path when a cat passes by. Do these carry any truth in them?

Guruji : According to me there is nothing in all these.
