Happiness in The Modern illusory World

Photo: FB863 * Happiness in The Modern illusory World *

The modern world has continued to make our lives unhappier due to the increased desire for possessions and also the ultimate dream of becoming happy. At the same time, the modern world has done us a great favor with its innovations in technology (including war weapons) however, humans are becoming unhappier. This is because ultimately we all want our lives to seem fuller and filled with happiness. In order to achieve this ultimate goal, modern humans often desire to obtain the possessions they do not have, and feel that this will lead them to great happiness. Now people want bigger houses, fancier cars, more power, and more money to obtain more possessions, but at the same time they started swallowing more pills to stay alive. They do not understand that with all of these possessions, there comes a more complex and difficult lifestyle, where they will suffocate themselves.
Every living being wants happiness and does not want suffering. From the very core of our being, we simply desire happiness. People lose the smallest joy in the hope for the big happiness. Be thankful for what you have. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough and your precious life will be spent in search of happiness. Happiness comes from spiritual wealth, not material wealth. Happy to be alive!!
