Archana Bhakti is another form of Bhakti. Archana is to offer beautiful and fragrant flowers in worship of God. God is pleased with whatever we offer him with love

Archana Bhakti is another form of Bhakti. Archana is to offer beautiful and fragrant flowers in worship of God. God is pleased with whatever we offer him with love. Lord Krishna said in Gita ~ leaves, flowers, water, fruits, whatever my devotee offers me with deep love and devotion, I become please with him and I personally come to receive it. No matter how expansive is the offering, I see only see devotion. Rukmini offered only one leaf of Tulsi, basil against all the wealth of satyabhama to measure the weight of Lord Krishna. Lord Vishnu offered lotus flowers to Shiva to please him. There was a time when the demons always tortured the cosmic Gods. the cosmic gods were suffering so much from the attacks of the demons that they went to see Lord Vishnu. Vishnu realised that he was not powerful enough to destroy all the demons and therefore decided to seek Shiva’s help. When Vishnu went to Shiva, he found him in the state of trance. Vishnu did not want to disturb Shiva’s meditation, so he decided to pray to Shiva with the hope that one day he would come out of his trance. Since that day, every day, for years, Vishnu prayed to Shiva and chanted his name. He offered one thousand lotus flowers to Shiva every day. Finally Shiva came out of his trance. Sri Vishnu ran to gather one thousand lotus blossoms so that he could worship Lord Shiva and ask for a special boon. Shiva, on the other hand had already decided that he would grant Vishnu the boon, but first he wanted to play a trick on him. He secretly went to the spot where Vishnu had placed the lotus flowers and stole one flower. Now there were only 999 flowers. When Vishnu began to worship Shiva, one by one he started offering flowers chanting his name only to realize that there were only 999 flowers. Without thinking much, he plucked out one of his eyes and placed it before Shiva. Shiva was impressed, Pleased with devotion of Lord Vishnu, Lord Shiva gave him the disc called Sudarshan chakra and told him that "No matter how many demons come to attack you and the other gods, you will be able to defeat them all with this disc."
Hari Om Tat Sat Namah Shivaya!!
