The Colours of Friendship
If Friendship were a flower I was to paint ,
What color would I use to fill the same?
If friendship were a poem I was to sing,
what notes would I use , to sound the happy jing a ling a ling
Now here’s the first thing, In a world full of sorrow,
it is so fresh , pleasant like the spring!
Like a meadow , then , of Lush, should I color it green?
Or would it be blue To convey a calm ,a cool Like the sky itself, where birds of togetherness always flew?
How about silver and gold and platinum too
These are modern days Jazzed up to have fun together
We are soulmates come alive
Like the colors often seen on that jazzy dance floor
And as we dance ,so we grow!
But in the dance of life ,its not just fun and frolic
Not just living on the edge,
But deep inside, it is noble, it is wise.
And not easy to convey are these virtues
Hidden like the rice inside a husk
Magnificent yet, like the ivory that adorns the tusk.
( Shivji is well known for calling His disciples, devotees, and followers Ganas-The Friends.Shivji is the finest example of the colours of freindship! Jai Bholenath!)
