Kailash Mansarover is very holy and the hardest to reach, the abode of Shiva where only those reach whom Shiva calls.

Kailash Manasarovar, Mount Kailash is one of the world’s most sacred spots. Kailash Mansarover is very holy and the hardest to reach, the abode of Shiva where only those reach whom Shiva calls. As per Many texts, the lake was first created in the thoughts of Lord Brahma and then placed on Earth. Its name, “Mansarovar” is a combination of the Sanskrit words “Manas” and “Sarovar” meaning “Mind” and “Lake” respectively. As Per Skanda Purana this is home of Shiva and one who drinks water from the lake will go to HIS Abode after death and is believed to be cleansed of all his sins committed over even a hundred lifetimes. Lake Manasarovar, otherwise known as Anotatta or Anavatapta, means a lake without any heat or trouble according to Pali Buddhist scripture and Sanskrit Buddhist writings. This region is revered by all the religions and people throughout the world in various ways. Associated legends that surround the region prove the unity of all religions and that God is one. To reach there you need to cross three countries and pass to many cultures. To experience its spiritual energy you must go there but with the right intention in mind. This is a pilgrimage and the intent should be to visit it for peace, both within each person and then the world. Tibetans leave an article of clothing or a drop of blood, hair or a stone to symbolise leaving their prejudices behind them. One should leave their ego, anxiety and meanness here!
