MAY SHIVA LEAD US FROM DARKNESS TO LIGHT
असतो मा सद्गमय
तमसो मा ज्योतिर्गमय
मृत्योर् मा अमृतं गमय
Lead Us From the Unreal To Real,
Lead Us From Darkness To Light,
Lead Us From Death To Immortality,
Aum ( The Universal sound of God)
Let there be Peace Peace Peace.

Lord Shiva is the source of the light of the world. He is The Primal Guru. In leading us to the Light, He leads us to Himself, in leading us to Himself, He leads us to our Self.
It is all one great mystic circle. Hiding and seeking; guiding, and then meeting! It is all the Lila of Shiva and Shakti.
This is the gist of the world play. It is all His light that shines on our lives to make them bright.
And yet the very play of Maya is such, that most of us go on living without knowing this source: We take the sunshine for granted, we take the air we breathe for granted, we take life for granted,which is alright ,because God wants for us to have Nature's bounty. But then , one fine day, when the harsher realities of the same life hit us, we start on a deeper journey, just like the Buddha when he wondered about what is the changeless in this ever changing world.
What is beyond old age and disease and death? What is the origin of my life, of all life? Of the whole Universe? And what is the purpose? Finally there comes a day when these questions come to our heart. Tamaso ma jyotirgamaya, said the Rishis ; From darkness ( Ignorance) lead us to light ( God).
And then the most adventurous, fulfilling, Divine journey to Mahadeva begins, so that we can know our place with Him for ever.
