Shiva comes full front full force , there for all to see.

It is the companionship of Her soulmate , Her swami that draws infinite abundance from Her as Mother Nature , the bountiful Queen of the Universe.

When Shiva thinks of Parvati

the Universe happens,

and all 'things' flow into life, from God's mind just like the Ganga flows from the heaven to earth .

It is the companionship of His eternal Shakti that goads Him to create,live, learn, and grow.

Thus too even though Shiva is God, it is Devi Parvati who is called the 'Hetu' cause of our existence.

The scientist looks to the skies and wonders who holds it all up? The Sun, the moon, and those billions of twinkling stars.

'This has to be a super power, a super intelligence, a super bond', he exclaims, there have to be a set of laws..gravity, electromagmetism, there has to be something that achieves this brilliance...

The ancient rishi remembers his own time of thinking and smiles, it is the greatest wonder of wonders that we still cannot see our parents through the clever disguise. Ah, The game of forever!

Mother supreme

who can make even the fallen win

Durga, the difficult to impress,

Mahadeva hastened His step,

but you said what's the rush,

the bridge is always there, take your time,

hand by hand to explore, the roulette wheels of life

and all bonds galore, and then you will get

what's always yours, this i promise you, O Lord of mine,

and the Lord saluted Devi, and said, " You "

are my own God.

the knower He is ,

of the uknown sign

The dancer of the Universe

at the start of it all

He is the poet and writer of the whole

His single poem is the making of the world.

He is the keeper of our breath

in this whirlwind space we call life.

He is Shiva the lord, Mahadev.

OUR WORLD

 

OUR WORLD

We are born in a world of " Things, jobs, relationships, emotions, money, competition, politics, powerplay ".

And right from nursery and school, we have been taught the same things, and then more in college, still more in University, and finally made to practise these in our daily lives at the Office or “ Market”, and in our 'performance ' in front of Society.

But sometimes, we get tired of playing the game of this world.

And we wonder about the "Other world" that the saints and mystics have always pointed out- The spiritual world, the world of goodness and joy and harmony. And we want so much to be a part of that world instead of this.

Long ago Shiva told his rishis, actually there are no two separate worlds! Everything is here. He taught them how to align both the mundane and the transcendent world.

We ,on the other hand, have only understood one and are yet to tune into the other. If we could learn that spirituality and materialism are not opposed to each other, but are, in fact, designed to be complementary, we would find our boat cruising better on the constant stream of life.

If we want to immediately synchronize the material world we have to live in, with the spiritual paradise we dream of;

If we want to release ourselves from our past errors and misgivings;

If we want to take charge of our life in terms of awareness;

and raise our own self esteem,

Then, we must get anchored firmly in our spiritual consciousness:

We must hold onto the presence of Shiva, in our world.

It is the effect of a hardened ignorance, which makes the world look bad.

Just like in our dressing room, sometimes, we double check the mole growing on our own cheek thinking the blemish is in the mirror!

Once you realise that what you see in the world, is what you yourself are, then you will have lit up the make up room with SELF Awareness ; You will have taken the first step towards unveiling the Ultimate beauty that you really have always been. The bhakt knows the immense beauty of Ma, and accepts everything as Her Divine play.

Lately, a lot of interest has been evinced in Shiva. We have had dozens of books, TV serials, movie clips, comics ,and lots of pages and groups surfacing on social media, all dedicated to the enigma that is Mahadeva – The God amongst Gods. When I first set out to write on Shiva, I wanted to come out with something that I myself would have enjoyed reading about Him! Everyone loves a good story, and reading so much from others about Shiva, I wanted to present His story the way that I ‘saw’ Him. And that is how i wrote SHIVA, The Ultimate Time Traveller.
