Kama Bhasm. Lord Shiva opens his eye and reduces kama to ashes, only to re incarnate him in another life cycle

Kama Bhasm. Lord Shiva opens his eye and reduces kama to ashes, only to re incarnate him in another life cycle.Shivji's stories are woven in at least two meanings, always. One is the story of event, and the other is the deeper, spiritual meaning of that event and its depiction. Here, the mythology is that shivji is very angry at kama for having used his passion arrows on Him, and therefore gives him this punishment. Esoterically, the meaning is simple: the fire of meditation is greater than the fire of passion.Aum Namah Shivaya!
